Education and Youth Initiatives
CHF brings Chicago educators and students into conversation with ground-breaking authors, artists, scientists, and educators.
A few of the vital voices students have previously engaged with include Eve L. Ewing (Ironheart), José Olivarez (Citizen Illegal), Daniel José Older (Shadowhouse Fall), Angie Thomas (The Hate U Give), Margot Lee Shetterly (Hidden Figures: The True Story of Four Black Women and the Space Race), Mikki Kendall (Amazons, Abolitionists, and Activists), and astrophysicist and science popularizer Hakeem Oluseyi.
