Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark: Audrey Niffenegger
October 31 wouldn't be complete without a haunting or two. Chicago's own Audrey Niffenegger delivers the ghoulish goods with her new collection, "Ghostly." From Edgar Allan Poe to Kelly Link, M. R. James to Neil Gaiman, Niffenegger's selections reveal the evolution of the ghost story with tales going back to the 19th century and into the modern era. Victoria Lautman will join her for a conversation with opening reading by Amy Giacalone.
