Liz Lerman & Gordon Kane on "The Matter of Origins"
"Sometimes you stumble into a way of describing, modeling, or actually understanding yourself better," choreographer Liz Lerman explains of her ongoing conversations with physicist Gordon Kane. Lerman and Kane have both found benefits to exploration of each other's fields. Kane, director of the Michigan Center for Theoretical Physics, encouraged Lerman to visit CERN and the scientists at the Large Hadron Collider. These visits provided inspiration for Lerman's new work, "The Matter of Origins." Kane and Lerman share insights from their ever-evolving explorations.
