Gillian Flynn 'Sharp Objects'
Author Gillian Flynn discusses her debut novel, the psychological thriller Sharp Objects (a forthcoming HBO series starring Amy Adams and Patricia Clarkson) was hailed by Stephen King as “an admirably nasty piece of work. . . the story just stayed there in my head, coiled and hissing, like a snake in a cave.”
With her follow up novels, Dark Places, and Gone Girl, the international sensation that became a blockbuster film, Flynn established herself as a master of suspense. CHF's Marilynn Thoma Artistic Director Alison Cuddy joins Flynn for a conversation on her addictive thrillers, the lure of graphic narratives, and the complex and disturbing female protagonists she creates.
