Bob Mankoff: A Life in Cartoons
Anything worth saying is worth saying funny. So says veteran New Yorker cartoon editor Bob Mankoff. A favorite of CHF's Laughter Festival (2009), Mankoff returns with a memoir in his chosen medium. In How About Never - Is Never Good For You?: My Life in Cartoons, Mankoff traces his love for the craft and shares why his first love - psychology - was a perfect training ground for a life in graphic humor. Enjoy an evening of hilarity and perspective on how cartoons - with a dash of psychology - help us understand ourselves and each other. The New Yorker cartoonist Pat Byrnes will join him for a conversation.
