Artists as Activists
CHF continues its examination of Jane Addam’s legacy of art and activism with an in-depth, intimate conversation with Chicago-based artists who make works of art that intervene in social situations. Gather with Laurie Jo Reynolds, Silvia I. Gonzalez, and fellow festival-goers in the historic Hull-House dining and meeting room for a wide-ranging, lively conversation in the style of settlement meetings of the past – hosted by Lisa Yun Lee and Shannon Jackson.
This program recognizes a generous multiyear grant from the Terra Foundation for American Art. The Terra Foundation is dedicated to fostering the exploration, understanding, and enjoyment of the visual arts in the United States for national and international audiences.
