Chicago Humanities Lincoln Park Day

Join Chicago Humanities in Lincoln Park for a day of events highlighting America’s entanglement with the issues of race and class.

Chicago Humanities will be in Lincoln Park on April 27th for a complete day of programming featuring photographer Dawoud Bey, novelist Cristina Henríquez, Pultizer Prize Winner Jefferson Cowie, New York Times bestselling author Eddie Glaude Jr., and New York Times columnist Frank Bruni.

Plus, join us for other spring festival events featuring a discussion with Swans of Harlem. Stay after the chat for a live dance performance tribute to the Swans by the Chicago-based dance company Move Me Soul. Chicago-based Black chamber music collective D-Composed also joins Chicago Humanities for a musical performance to break down our preconceptions for how we define classical music.
