Health and Safety Policies

We are committed to gathering for in-person events and experiences.

Chicago Humanities is first and foremost an organization that fosters connection. Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for our audiences is our top priority.

Our staff has been trained on protocols involving medical emergencies and law enforcement on site.

Audience and staff are expected to follow the health and safety protocols in place at the time of an event. Some events and presenters may have unique health safety procedures and requirements. COVID-19 vaccinations and boosters are strongly recommended for all; however, proof of vaccination is not required to attend in-person events.

It is our utmost priority to keep the communities we join safe, we hope you join us with that same effort.

Thank you for your support — your participation, philanthropic contributions, and membership gifts make all the difference in our ability to bring civic and cultural conversations to life on stages across Chicago, and we can’t wait to see you.
