About the Event:

You may know Zosia Mamet from her role as Shoshanna on HBO’s Girls, or according to Mamet herself, as a “nepo baby lite, a nepito baby, if you will.” Join us in conversation with Mamet as she sheds light on the challenges and magic of growing up in show business — from her early days immersed in literary and dramatic circles, to her years as a young adult pining for acceptance and love, her first attempts to make it as an actor, and where she and Shosh are now. Pulling from her essays in Does This Make Me Funny?, Mamet provides a gripping, funny, and earnest look at girlhood and how to define yourself amid the bustle of show business.

Pilsen / Little Village Day is generously supported in part by ITW, the Terra Foundation for American Art, and Wintrust.
