What's Next: Work (Virtual)
About the Event:
The pandemic exposed cracks in America’s workforce: from the extreme inequality between CEO and employee pay, to the insecurity of the gig economy, to the disparities between essential workers and those who could stay at home. Join CHF for a conversation about how America's workforce may have changed for good during the pandemic—and how companies, unions, and workers can create a healthier work environment for all. Panelists include Ai-jen Poo (Executive Director of the National Domestic Workers Alliance) Indra Nooyi (former PepsiCo CEO and author of the new book, My Life in Full: Work, Family, and Our Future) and Harry Holzer (Professor at Georgetown's McCourt School of Public Policy and former Chief Economist for the US Department of Labor).
