About the Event:

UnBlocked Englewood is an arts-driven community redevelopment initiative that offers essential home repairs and beautification in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago. This project targets a block significantly affected by the mid-century predatory housing practice of Land Sale Contracts, turning these homes into symbols of pride and resilience. In honor of Fair Housing Month, join us for a screening of UnBlocked Englewood. A discussion with activist, artist, and creator Tonika Lewis Johnson will follow the documentary.
