About the Event:

Three-Michelin-starred Chef Eric Ripert, head of one of the finest seafood restaurants in the world, Le Bernardin, shares some of his favorite secrets from his newest cookbook, Seafood Simple–teaching all of us home cooks how to get seafood right in our own kitchens. Breaking down cooking techniques into their building blocks, along with images to illustrate each step in the process, Ripert shows us how to master core skills, from poaching and deep frying to filleting a fish and shucking an oyster. Chef Ripert will be joined by co-host of Spotlight Chicago Ji Suk Yi, for a conversation on how to master restaurant-level cooking at home

Due to illness, Chris Kimball will no longer be participating in this event.
