Maggie Nelson: On Freedom (Virtual)
About the Event:
Poet, scholar, and nonfiction writer Maggie Nelson is one of the most acclaimed cross-genre writers working today. Known for The Argonauts (a beautifully-crafted combination both of memoir and critical theory), Nelson’s latest book asks: what does freedom mean, especially as it relates to art, sex, drugs, and climate? Join Nelson and CHF Marilynn Thoma Artistic Director Alison Cuddy for a conversation about the limits, complexities, paradoxes, and potential of freedom as both a rhetorical device and lived practice in our current moment.
This live, interactive program is part of Between the Lines, an exclusive series for CHF Members programmed as a benefit for their support.
