About the Event:

Kimberlé Crenshaw is the revolutionary mind behind intersectionality and critical race theory — two of the most influential ideas to have transformed America’s understanding of fairness and justice. Join us as Crenshaw shares the intimate story of how her life gave birth to these groundbreaking concepts — and how, from a young age, she learned to talk back. From being denied a role in the kindergarten school play to OJ Simpson’s trial and Obama’s launch of My Brother’s Keeper, Crenshaw’s backtalking has underlined her life, rendering her a force to be reckoned with across America.

A book signing will follow this event.
