Isaiah Collier and The Chosen Few Jazz Quartet (PASS ONLY)
About the Event:
Chicago saxophonist, composer, arranger, and activist Isaiah Collier draws inspiration from jazz master John Coltrane and Chicago's own renowned history of creative music to experiment with new sounds. At Chicago Humanities, Collier will bring his quartet the Chosen Few to the historic Epiphany Center for a special evening of music that Collier describes as a “sonic time machine.” By embracing the influences of jazz titans of the past, Collier and his quartet will present new music that will give audiences a feel for the future of jazz.
This program is presented in partnership with CHIRP Radio.
