He has helped us understand some of the most monumental lives of our times, such as Jackie Robinson, Lou Gehrig, Al Capone and Muhammad Ali. Eig’s newest subject is one of the most important figures in U.S. history: Martin Luther King Jr. But what is new to say about MLK? Plenty, it turns out.
