About the Event:

The singer-songmaker known as Bonnie "Prince" Billy has made an indelible mark on the world of indie rock over the past quarter century, but the man behind the music, Will Oldham, remains mostly a mystery. In a rare appearance including both performance and conversation, the artist is joined by music writer John Corbett. At Thalia Hall, they’ll chat about the inspirations and meanings behind Oldham’s beloved body of work (from classics like I See A Darkness to his more recent album and accompanying book Songs of Love and Horror). The evening concludes with a raw, uncensored, and intimate live music performance featuring special guest collaborators.

This program is presented in partnership with Thalia Hall.
