Andy Borowitz on the Ignorance of Politicians
About the Event:
Prepare to be both entertained and alarmed as renowned satirist Andy Borowitz takes the stage to discuss his latest book, Profiles in Ignorance: How America's Politicians Got Dumb and Dumber. In his hilarious and scathing style, Borowitz skewers the American public for electing politicians who are better at performing than thinking. Citing examples from Reagan to Trump and George Santos, the renowned writer uses his razor-sharp wit to expose the depths of ignorance plaguing American politics. Join Borowitz and the host of the Interview Show, Mark Bazer, for a good laugh and cry about today’s politicians and to learn how we can still change the course of history if we act now.
