Travis Whitlock, Audience Services Coordinator, joined the Chicago Humanities Festival in 2013 and began as a House Manager. He later assisted with the production and administrative duties of the festival box office in 2014 and continued his time with the organization as a Senior Audience Services Representative. In his current role, Travis works closely with festival members and the general public while holding in high esteem the values of customer service, volunteer initiatives, and accessible programming. Travis has garnered a professional track record with Chicago's most dynamic arts organizations such as the Grant Park Music Festival, Lyric Opera of Chicago, and the Chicago Sinfonietta. His passion for the humanities and culture stems from his expertise and experience in opera performance and foreign language. A master of music, Travis holds a graduate degree from the music conservatory Roosevelt University, CCPA and obtained his Master of Arts Management degree from Columbia College.
