Rashida Phillips joined the Chicago Humanities Festival in August 2015 as the Director of Education and Youth Initiatives. She brings over 10 years of experience in the cultural and education sector working with museums, arts organizations, and school agencies around areas of access and learning. Prior to joining CHF she held a variety of administrative and management positions at the Associated Colleges of the Midwest, Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education, and the Chicago Children's Museum organizing multi-layered initiatives that focused on building collaborative partnerships, garnering change, increasing funding, and developing programs. She holds a Masters of Arts in Jazz History and Research from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Oberlin College.
