Patricia Ward is responsible for providing broad science leadership across the Museum's exhibition work. In her ten years at the Museum, she has developed and produced exhibitions on a variety of science topics including genetics and human health and has worked in numerous educational outreach efforts. Ward earned a B.S. in biological science from the University of Minnesota and a Ph.D. in immunology from the University of Chicago. She was a NIH post-doctoral fellow in molecular genetics and cell biology at the University of Chicago before joining the Museum in 1999. Ward has published widely in the areas of tumor immunology, molecular genetics, and the cell biology of herpes simplex virus.
