People's Pop Up: SHOW AND TELL!
What does your STUFF say about you? About your passions, your past, your sense of self? Do your things spark joy, prompt nostalgia, or trigger rage?
Play “Show and Tell” with us on social platforms throughout the month of April to reflect on these questions and more. Inspired by Springfest’s theme STUFF and its diverse associations, this social media project invites you to critically explore the sometimes emotional, often perplexing, always political relationship we have with the material things around us.
Here’s how it works:
Take a photo of a meaningful object
Write a brief caption that tells the story behind it
Post on social using the hashtag #CHFShowAndTell
Each week in April, we’ll focus on a theme to get you thinking, but we also encourage you to share any object that feels meaningful to you. Be sure to follow the digital pop up on our social platforms for an insider’s peek at our staff’s special (or vexing) things, the stuff that makes our live events happen, and more! Show and Tell with us on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and Tumblr, using the hashtag #CHFShowAndTell.
Pop up participants will be eligible for special giveaways, including tickets, signed books, and more!
