What was your favorite Festival?
My favorite Festival is always the last one I attended.
If you were CHF’s Artistic Director, who would you invite for Citizens?
Morris Dees, co-founder of the Southern Poverty Law Center; Ken Burns, documentary film-maker; Dave Zirin, sports and social justice writer (Nation); Alpana Singh, restaurateur.
What was your favorite recent program?
Amy Klobuchar (the best Alter lecture in a long time: engaging, informative, and hilarious)
What is your favorite member benefit?
I enjoy receiving early notification of the Festival catalog and other CHF events, as then I am able to purchase my member-discounted tickets during the members-only time period.
Why did you become a Member?
One New Year’s Day I learned about the Festival from a friend and decided that I would attend... her description of the vast and varied programs seemed too good to be true.
After I went to my first Festival, I was certain that I wanted to become a member... I felt that it was important for me to make a contribution to the CHF as a member so that it would continue to provide the programming that I appreciated so much.
What else do you love to do in Chicago?
I enjoy the rich cultural opportunities and activities that Chicago offers – museums, art exhibits and fairs, theater, music events, restaurants, and architectural and community tours.
